    Hello people,

I’m struggling with a little problem. On a page I need a block with a specific background. In this block I have two 1/2 columns, one with an image and one with a tekst block. Normally this could b achieved by using a color section but a color section is full width and overlaps the sidebar. How can I achive this without overlapping the sidebar?

I have also made an image. The squares are 1/2 columns with images and tekst. The top two 1/2 columns should be contained in a section with a seperate background (the box with lightgrey backgound and red stroke in this example)

    example for colored box

    Hope you can help me.

    Kind regards,
    Erik

    Hey Driekus!

Have you tried using a Widget element? that way you can disable the natural sidebar and use that instead.

    Hello Josue,

Unfortunally that isn’t a asolution as the Widget element needs to be placed in a columsection as well to prevent it to be full width. When I would use the widget element it isn’t the full height of the page as well.

    Hey!

In that case you would need to create it manually with HTML inside a codeblock element. It is going to take a bit of CSS work though.

Was already afraid of that :-) I will look into it.
