Hello!
I’m another person not able to setup the API key.
Followed the instructions, generated a new key, disabled plugins.. No solution yet. Any insight on what I’m doing wrong? info in private content.

First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Also, did you add billing details to the Google account which you created the API key with? If not then please do so.
Best regards,

I thought I went through the billing account step before but I think I copied the wrong project/API key. Thank you. It is working now.
But when I tried to update the theme I went to “Theme Update” and it said “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.5.4)”. Any reason why it says that? I also tried clicking “Check Manually” but it led me to a page that said “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” Should I open up a new thread for this?
October 5, 2019 at 5:57 am #1145218Hi,
Great, I’m glad that you got it working.
About updates; you haven’t added a token under Enfold->Theme Update. Please refer to the documentation on how to do that: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

I was able to connect the token but it still says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” when I try to check it manually
October 8, 2019 at 6:58 am #1146028Hi,
I see the same thing on my end, I’m pretty sure that it’s not theme related though. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if there are any restrictions from their end which could cause that to happen please? You can also try to disable all plugins to see if there might be a conflict coming from any of them.
Best regards,
RikardOctober 12, 2019 at 1:16 am #1147290Hi Rikard,
Thanks for the heads up. It was a hosting provider task. Had a different process of putting it in a test site before going live. All resolved. Thank you
