I have created several WordPress solutions using the Enfold theme and again I find myself running into the same error as always.
“Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.”

I have followed the guidelines to the letter and yet they still do not work. I have verified that the WordPress instance is fully up-to-date, as is the theme. Also, I disabled every plugin and tried again. I even went the extra step and downloaded a google maps plugin (WP Google Maps) and tested that to see if I could get the API key to work via that plugin. That plugin works, proving that the API key is not the issue.

Can I please get the assistance of an Enfold moderator to resolve this issue. This site was to be done days ago and time is of the essence. Thank you in advance.

    Hey Hank,

Thanks for the login details. I can’t see an API key added to the theme backend, please add it and save or share it here in the thread privately.

    Best regards,

Ok, I have added it but it does not save. I will try to save it once more here and i will post it in the private content.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I see that the theme is indicating that the key is not working on the backend, but when I add coordinates to the map element on your contact page it seems to be working? I don’t see any Google maps error messages either which is a bit strange.

    Best regards,

Hi, I have looked and seen that it seems to be working properly. Thank you,

    Hi,

Great, I’m glad that it’s working. We’ll keep this thread open in case there should be any further problems with it.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
