    Dear Kriesi-Team,
We are using this plugin as it deliver much more (cool) options that the Enfold Testimonials. https://shapedplugin.com/demo/testimonial-pro/
The team of shapedplugin has solved the problem, but with a workaround, see the correspondence with the plugin-developer team, wondering if here is anything you can to (or me on the theme?

    Dear ShapedPlugin Team,
testimonial sliders are all of a sudden not displaying e.g. in Safari Mac os also on IOS, in Chrome/Firefox developer they do.

    Please have a look.
e.g. homepage under : Happy Clients!

When login into backend please make sure to check the DATENSCHUTZ box, otherwise you can’t log in.

    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Yours sincerely,
    Sirpa on behalf of Susanne

    Hi,

We have looked into your site and found some JavaScript errors in the console. It seems that Testimonial Pro’s functionalities are being hindered by those errors vhttps://prnt.sc/q6gdhd.

Try with switching the theme or deactivating other plugins to remove the errors and then try the Testimonial Pro and let us know how it works.

    Waiting to hear from you.

    Regards,
    Shamim

I asked them for further support as we did not change the theme and I have no clue of js, so they solved it with a interim solution.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

Our developer team has inspected the issue occurring on your site and they have found that This error is being generated by a file “themes/enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js” which is coming from the theme you are using.

This issue is blocking the Testimonial Pro plugins files from loading as it loads first.
But we found a solution for you by customizing the plugin so that it loads the required file before the error occurs. Now the testimonial slider on your site is working properly on Safari. But the error will remain in the console as it’s coming from the theme. You can contact the theme author regarding this error.

The plugin we have installed has been customized. Updating or reinstalling the plugin will erase the customization so please don’t forget to keep a backup of this custom plugin before deleting or reinstalling it.

    Thank You

    Dear MS Ansary,
thank you so much, really very appreciated.
With the Enfold Theme, I am pretty sure you know it is one of the top best sellers amongst wordpress themes, especially as it is quite “lean” compared to e.g. Avada. The other point is they very much integrate mandatory GDPR requirements, amongst other the cookie consent.
So you might consider to adjust your plugin in general accordingly, but I will for sure get back to the team of kriesi.at to see with them.
    Have a great day/evening.
    Yours sincerely,
    Sirpa on Behalf of Susanne

Thanks a lot for your support.

    Yours sincerely.

PS: I’ll be on leave for four weeks, so no hurry.

    Hey Sirpa,
Sorry for the late reply and the details, I took a look at your two links and the console errors and I found:
(index):281 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'if' which is from a custom script in your functions.php:
    2019-12-14-125522
    2019-12-14-130630
and (index):20 Uncaught ReferenceError: ga is not defined
which is being adding by the wpSEO plugin:
    2019-12-14-130247
    2019-12-14-130500
but neither of these are coming from avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js as suggested above nor are they standard to Enfold.
So I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question correctly or how we can assist.

    Best regards,
    Mike
