Hello Support-Team,
we have a problem with submitting the contact form on our website https://www.rachbauer.at/kontakt/.
We use the standard contact form from Avia Layout Builder.
When clicking on ‘send’ nothing happens. Not even an error message appears.What is the reason for this?
We suspect that it could be caused by spam protection, but we have checked the google reCAPTCHA settings and could not find any errors.

Sorry for the problem. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.5) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

After updating the theme manually to the latest version it works fine now.
Strangely enough i manually searched every month for possible updates of the theme, but it always said that it was up to date. The envato token is also linked correctly. To avoid this problem in the future: what could be the reason?

Now I have tried to install the following SMPT plugins, one after another, as you said.

WP Mail SMTP
Formidable Form Builder – Contact Form, Survey & Quiz Forms Plugin for WordPress
WP Mail SMTP by WPFormsThe problem is still persistent. Hope you can find a solution.

I am a user and programmer. I had this issue and solved it after long research. I did not get any working solution here. It is a bug within enfold occuring since the last update.I wrote the Autor of enfold but it seems to be a rar problem. Just get in touch with me, I can show you how to solve this. I had this problem on two of my sites. Both are working again.

No I´m sorry. It did not work. I think you have tasted the Contact Form on another site.
Here´s the website I have problems with https://bjornafjordenopplevelser.no/contact-us/.
I had to take away the Contact Form until my costumer had set in his SMTP Host kode in the plugin WP mail SMTP.
I hope it will be better after he have done that. Or schoud I download a Contact Form plugin instead og use the Avia Layer builder elements that I usally do?___
I have also a problem with a new page I have made today. It will not accept me to update elements from Avia Layer builder like it normally do.
Can you tell me how to find API in Envato Market, ( where I have bought the Enfold Theme) and how to update the Enfold Theme in Enfold?
Or is it a bug in Enfold, that did come within the new version of WordPress. Is it some plugins I have to download? I have dowloaded Disable Gutenberg already.Thanks for helping me out of this. I hope you can solve this two problems I have.

same happend to me here. Victoria is trying hard to answer in a positive way but offers no solution in this topic. She did not test your form! Your contact form has problems within a sepcific constallation, checkboxes and letters. I wrote you an email back. I got my form working again, took me about 2.5 horus of research until I found the causing problem. It is most of the times a variable, not being validated by enfold. I really like enfold and the backend but support of difficult things you have to find out yourself. The design of the websites still look like 2017, this is very sad because the ALM Elements itself are a good solution.SMTP is not causing the problem here!
