June 20, 2019 at 2:07 am #1111784Hi there
We are getting a huge amount of spam coming through from the enfold contact form. The form has certain required fields which aren’t being filed in but they are still able to send form. We have the captcha enabled as well. Is there anything else we can do to prevent this – is anything being build in to fix this issue?Cheers June 20, 2019 at 10:55 am #1111898Hey xfacta, Where can we see the form which you are having problem with? Best regards,
RikardJune 21, 2019 at 12:27 am #1112148Hey there It could be this one: https://skylighter.com.au/quick-quote/
Or this one: https://skylighter.com.au/contact/Thank you :-) June 21, 2019 at 9:17 am #1112239Hi xfacta, Try using google reCaptcha instead.
Just go to Enfold > Google Services > Google Recaptcha, select a version and put in Site Key and Secret Key (just click on ‘new API key pair’ link on the right to get these 2 keys).
For more information on which version to use, please refer on our documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/contact-form/#how-captcha-works
 Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoJuly 4, 2019 at 8:08 am #1115654Thanks for this. I have set that up but how to I make sure this works on my contact forms now? July 4, 2019 at 8:09 am #1115657And do I leave on the Enfold captcha or remove? July 8, 2019 at 4:30 am #1116543Hi, Thank you for the update. Looks like you’ve set up the v3 version. You should see the submit button change to “Authenticating..” while the authentication is running and turn back to the actual submit label once it’s done. You can remove the default captcha if you don’t find it necessary. Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 8, 2019 at 9:01 am #1116585Thank you – it seems to be working :-) July 8, 2019 at 1:51 pm #1116666Hi, Awesome! We’ll close the thread now. Let know if you need anything else. Best regards,
