The contact form is not working on one of my client’s websites. The website is http://MaureenLangan.com.
It was working fine but seems to have stopped at the end of August. Any advice? Help? Thank you so much!
October 22, 2019 at 12:12 pm #1150144Hey bittenbyazebra,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,
RikardOctober 27, 2019 at 6:40 pm #1151593I updated and it still doesn’t seem to work. I’ve posted login info in the private link. Thanks so much!
October 28, 2019 at 4:44 am #1151661Hi,
Thanks for the details and update. I see that you have Ninja Forms and Contact Form 7 installed on the site, do those plugins send emails?
Best regards,
RikardOctober 28, 2019 at 4:51 am #1151664They can, yes. But we aren’t using them.
I recently added Contact Form 7 because the Enfold form wasn’t working. I can deactivate them.
Ninja’s forms was there the whole time. I’m not sure if it’s connected to anything but I don’t think so.

October 28, 2019 at 4:56 am #1151666It also appears that the advanced layer slider stopped working when I did the update.
I have deactivated Contact Form 7 and Ninja Forms.
October 28, 2019 at 10:46 pm #1151931Hi,
Do u have a backup of your Web Site, so we can do edits?
Best regards,
BasilisOctober 28, 2019 at 10:55 pm #1151936There is a backup option for Managed WordPress.
October 29, 2019 at 10:17 pm #1152158This is another issue that the owner of the site is having on her computer (not sure why it doesn’t show up elsewhere):
On my end, I am receiving the message at the bottom of the screen that reads:
This contact form is deactivated because you refused to accept Google reCaptcha service which is necessary to validate any messages sent by the form.
Might this be the issue? If so, how do we resolve it?
Thanks again!
October 31, 2019 at 5:39 pm #1152799Have you had any luck? Is there anything that I can do to help?
I have removed the contact form from the contact page. You can access one here, instead:
We look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks.
November 1, 2019 at 2:12 am #1152904Hi,
This contact form is deactivated because you refused to accept Google reCaptcha service which is necessary to validate any messages sent by the form.
Sorry for the delay. This is probably related to the privacy & cookies option. The spam protection is not working properly because it is initially deactivated on page load, and only when the cookies are accepted and the page is refreshed will they start working. If you want services such as the spam protection to work on page load without the users accepting the cookies first, please go to the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies panel, look for the Default Cookie Behaviour and set it to the first option so that the essential cookies that enables these services are automatically added in the local storage on page load.
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 4, 2019 at 10:46 pm #1153785I have went into Enfold > Privacy & Cookies
There are only two options:
DIsable
Enablein that order.
I chose Enable and then under Default Cookie Behaviour,I put it at the first option. Still does not work.
I have the newest theme installed. I need this fixed as clients rely heavily on these interactions.

RikardNovember 7, 2019 at 10:53 pm #1154764I don’t see the point….as when I search, there are many with the same issues and no solutions provided. Why add to that list? Clearly we just need to wait for a new version…right?
November 10, 2019 at 9:03 pm #1155396Hi,
Well, sometimes we do fix things before but if you do not want to provide us, there is not a lot we can do.
Best regards,
