Hello,
the contact form does not send emails. I have deactivated all plugins. Tried different mail addresses. Still nothing happens. Form 7 sends emails without problems. I have tested it. I have also tried all the tips from the enfold documentation and it’s not the fault of my provider. I use the current Enfold version.
No idea anymore ….Close this topic. It’s not solved but I will use form7. Unfortunately this takes too long. Currently there is a lot going on in your forum.
But it would be nice to take a closer look at the form in the future. It is not the first time that it does not work. Independent of providers. A pity …I had the same problem … Using Form 7 seemed to fix it. I also changed the Email address that the form was sending to. Rather than use the regular email address like (Email address hidden if logged out) , I created an email address with godaddy (my host) like (Email address hidden if logged out) (my web page) and had that forwarded to (Email address hidden if logged out) . One or both seemed to fix the problem.
Just thought I would toss that out.
BTW … Personally, I like Contact Form 7. IMHO, its more robust than the built-in form. Although it does have it’s share of “getting used to” and own problems.

Enfold uses php mail() function and it does not work properly sometimes, so it’s better to use an SMTP plugin or some form plugin. Contact Form 7 would likely be the plugin you need since the plugin concentrates on the forms and thus it has more advanced features and you could customize it better.
