Hi, I am from Spain and in march 2018 the european law makes compulsory agree with the terms of privacity police.
Is there any way to add a compulsory checkbox to all our sign up mailchimp forms that the user has to check before sign up?
If not, have you in mind add this option near in time?
If not, where I can hire someone for this kind of customization? Thanks in advance.

Since you are using mailchimp, please see this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-add-checkbox-for-newsletter-subscription-to-contact-form-like-demo/#post-749884Best regards,
MikeJanuary 25, 2018 at 6:32 pm #902949Hi Mike, but I am afraid that this case has no relation to what I am asking for.
I need to add a compulsory checkbox to a form created with the mailchimp sign up function built in the AVIA Builder. I don’t want to add a mailchimp signup to and ordinary form.
Many thanks.
January 26, 2018 at 5:04 am #903163Hi,
Unfortunately this option is not available. The Avia mailchimp element creates the form from the mailchimp API, meaning that it only show the form that is built at mailchimp. Since this option is not available at mailchimp, it can not be available in the element.
This is a mailchimp limitation. The plugin Easy Forms for MailChimp, in the post linked above maybe a workaround around as it allows you to create a “required” check box that you can label with your privacy policy. The regular contact form in Enfold also has this capability, but it will not link to your mailchimp account. I did find one other mailchimp workaround here. But you would need to create a Embedded form placing the code in a code block element.
I do note that the example url you provided doesn’t have a compulsory checkbox on their mail form, they have a statement under the form. You can also create a statement under your mailchimp form. Please see screenshot in Private Content area.
I hope this helps.Best regards,

I finally found it hidden in the privacy section of Enfold settings. You should first select the privacy page then the settings for privacy checkboxes appears. A bit too complex to find, a simple checkbox in the Mailchimp widget would make life easier :)Hello,
I was looking for the same feature and I hoped it could be included in the latest GDPR update.
Now Mailchimp provides a checkbox agreement in their GDPR feature then this shouldn’t be a Mailchimp limitation anymore.
Hope this feature could be added as soon as possible.Thank you
