Hi,
We just purchased Thrive Leads to grow our mailing list but ran into a wall trying to set it up after install. After consulting with ThriveThemes they determined it was an incompatibility with Enfold Theme I hope you can help us work around?Thank you very much!
DebHere is what they wrote to me after plug-in & theme deactivations:
Alfred wrote:Hello Deb,
Thank you for getting back to us and for allowing us perform plugin
deactivation.I went ahead and deactivated plugin but the issue still persists. Then, I
did change your theme from Enfold to a default WordPress theme Twenty Twenty
and it seems that the Enfold theme is the one causing the issue as Thrive
Leads opened after doing so – https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gu9D20xI’ve reverted back the changes I made. For now, I would suggest that you
coordinate with the developers of Enfold theme for them to check and do the
necessary changes.Thrive products are compatible and works perfectly with every theme and
plugin that was built considering the rules from the WordPress CodexLet us know if there’s anything else we can assist you with.

(original problem instigating ticket:
I just purchased Thrive Leads. Following your introductory instructions when I get to this stage – Designing the Appearance of Your Opt-In Form – all I get are the 5 sliding green balls and it will not load the templates. Please help me get past this point or I think this is unusable.I am using latest version of WP and theme ENFOLD v. 4.5.7 by Kriesi. Thank you!)

Sorry for the problem. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.6.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. I see that you haven’t added a token to the backend of the theme yet, please refer to this on how to register your theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/.

I just added the token and updated the theme but that did not seem to do the trick. I still get the sliding green balls when I get to this stage – Designing the Appearance of Your Opt-In Form – all I get are the 5 sliding green balls and it will not load the templates.
Thank you for the help you can provide!

DebAugust 8, 2020 at 12:13 am #1236151I also wrote to THRIVE and received this response this afternoon. Can you look into conflict with JS error for us, please? Thank you!
(you can read it all below but here is main snippet:
I tested this again and it seems the error in the console is still present
even with Enfold at its latest version. It is a JS(JavaScript ) error and it
makes reference to the theme. I then temporary switched to a default
Wordpress Theme (Twenty Twenty) and the editor loaded without issues:Razvan wrote:

to the WordPress codex. In other words, they’re built the way WordPress
software is supposed to be built and will work with any other plugin/theme
that was build according to the default WordPress codex.Enfold seems to create a conflict with our products. I would recommend
reaching out to the developers of Enfold and ask them to have a look into the
issue as the know best how they developed their theme. Please let us know if you have any further questions in the meantime.

RazvanAugust 13, 2020 at 2:10 am #1237194Hi,
Sorry for the delay. Is there a staging or development version of the site? The plugin is no longer in the list when we checked the dashboard today. Please reinstall the plugin and post the URL of the development version of the site so that we can check the issue properly.

IsmaelOctober 5, 2020 at 11:02 pm #1250659I have the exact same problem when using thrive with my enfold theme.
When I want to use the Thrive architect builder I only get the green dots as shown ind the post above.
My enfold theme is running newest version.
Is there a solution from Kriesi to this problem??October 7, 2020 at 7:38 am #1251036Hi Overskudtilmere,
Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please note that we have no official support for the builder in question, so our support is limited in cases like these.

MaleneOctober 9, 2020 at 6:07 am #1251628Hi,
Thanks for that. I checked this page: https://your.site/wp-admin/post.php?post=1711&action=edit&classic-editor, and it looks like the plugin in question is working fine there. What do we need to do in order to reproduce the problem?

RikardOctober 12, 2020 at 9:53 am #1252216Hi Rikard,
When making a new post it seems to be working – great :D
If I click on pages in the menu at the left, then create new page, use Thrive architect
Then I get stuck with the green dotsKind regards
MaleneOctober 13, 2020 at 8:34 am #1252468Hi Malene,
Thanks for the update. I can’t see that problem on my end when creating a new page, when I click the Thrive Architect button on a new page, it opens a new tab and I get the page which you can see in this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/NQz7LFe
Could you try using a different browser or an incognito/private window in your current browser to see if that helps please?
Best regards,
RikardOctober 13, 2020 at 2:27 pm #1252535Hi Rikard,
I have both tried in inkognito mode and in a different browser.
Same result.
The new tab opens and it is like it cannot load the new page in the background.
In the background it shows “page not found”
Today it is the same issue again with a new post too.
I can edit the new page, you made with T.A. but not make a new one..I think I have found a work around :D
If i create a new page, put a titel on and save the page.
When opening the page it is now possible to edit with T.A.So it seems like the problem only happens when it is creating a new page, without saving it as a page first.
Kind regards
