    Hello Kriesi,

    I have an issue regarding our blog. At first I deactivated the comments but now we want to activate them, so we thought we did with just checking the boxes of “allow comments”. However, no comment section showed up. We purged the cache, uninstalled Jetpack plugin, but nothing worked. We thought of installing a comment section plugin, wpDiscuz, but it doesn’t work either.

    Can you help me, please?

    No, we didn’t. When I previewed the post before posting, the comment section was there. Whats more, sometimes we forgot deactivating it so we did after publishing it and it did, but now that we want to activate them, nothing appears.

    Sorry, it looks as though in the old thread I was able to login, yet this time I was blocked.
    I believe this is due to geo ip blocking, and I believe your ip is from Venezuela.
    I tried my VPN, but I don’t have Venezuela on it, the closest was Brazil, which didn’t work.
    Please ask your webhost to disable the IP blocking so we can assist.

    Hi,
    Thank you I was able yo login. I found that some of your blog posts have had their comments turned off, to turn on please go to a post and them click the tab “screen option” at the very top of the page. A drop down menu will show, then click the check box “comments” to show the comments field at the bottom of the page.
    Then go to the bottom, and click the check box “allow comments” and save.

    Oh my God, we did not activate the comments in the Screen options, that is why it was not working….
