I have a problem that has persisted for several years. I raised it here once and it was not properly addressed.

When I create a post and add a colorbox, the sidebar is being forced below the post.

    See Example:

I need to know how to fix this.

    Hey Dameon,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Color section, Grid Row and other full width elements are intended to be full width hence if a sidebar is enabled on a page with a full width element it is pushed down. This is an intended behaviour please use a 1/1 column instead.

Please check the documentation for more info.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,
Yeah ok I understand that’s how you do things. However, It makes more sense, to me, that If I set the page to have a sidebar then the colorbox will honour that and not override it.

Be that as it may, here’s the problem:

Special Headings, Text Boxes, Galleries ect. are all responsive and do not force the sidebar below.

I want to add an Image with Hotspots. This is also a full width element.

How can I add an image with hotspots and get it to behave like a special heading or a textbox and expand to 100% of the width of the page (responsive) without forcing the sidebar below?

    Hi,

You can put it in a 1/1 element for instance?

    Best regards,

1/1 ELement is working now. Maybe the tooltip exceeded the column and this forced down the sidebar. IDK. I rebuilt the post with an image with hotspots inside a column and now it’s working. Thanks
