When using an image in the Color Section there are options to stretch the image to fit or keep the original size. But when using a video background in the Color Section the video always expands to fill the screen – is it possible to keep the video’s original size in any way?

That’s how the Color Section element works, if you want a video with the original size it would be better to use the Video Element (Media Elements).
