Classic AND Avia Layout Builder display in edit mode = not able to update

Hi
I have a problem with not being able to update my pages properly. When in edit mode both the Classic and Avia Layout Builder displays. When I open a text box in the avia layout builder no text show up. I made some simple text changes in code view, updated which made the text and code display all over the page. I had to manually clean the code and update again. I have updates all plugins, theme, php and wordpress,and still both classic and avia layout builder displays. I read the forum but can’t find an answer to the problem. How can I turn off the classic editor so only the avia layout builder displays? Or how can I fix this. I don’t want classic editor and now I don’t dare to edit any pages?
