Even if “open link in new tab” is selected, links always open in the same tab. I tested this on Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and Safari with the same results. Research on previous threads says that the issue occurred prior to 4.7, but was fixed.

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please let us know how to reproduce this problem on your actual site.
Please consider updating to the latest version (4.8.2) of the theme as well: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
