    Yes that is true, we do Enforce it so it can work with our settings.

    So these recommendations are not longer valid?

    Hi,

    They are still valid but some options may not work or may not be compatible with the current site’s setup and server. You have to play around with the configuration in order to find the best combination of options for optimization.

    But it says that the settings is enforced by Enfold? What does that got to do with my server?

    Settings
    Enfold is preventing me to change not my server.
    There is no way to play around with configuration as it has been locked by Enfold!
    How do I come around this?

    Hi,

    I was referring to other optimization options in that article. Anyway, I’m not sure why those particular options are now enforced but I guess it has something to do with the theme’s performance options. If you want to disable it, edit the config-layerslider > config.php file and disable this line of code.

    add_action( 'init', array( $this, 'force_settings'), 10, 0 );
