    How do I get a caption to show under an image in lightbox view? I just can’t seem to find how to do this. Even better – is there a way to add an icon under an image which only shows the caption on hover/when you click? Thankyou!

    Hey carendavis!

    You need to add a title / alt text to the image to get the lightbox caption to display.

    Hey, so all my images have titles, I have added alt text to the first couple in the portfolio to test – and none are showing up in lightbox. Any ideas why? THankyou!

    Hi!

    Please go to Media > Library, edit your image and add titles you would like to show in “description” field

    Hey!

    Can you please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
    There seems to be issue with JS files and re-updating should fix it. Title shows up totally fine on my local installation

    Hey Yigit, I have reinstalled via FTP and this doesn’t seem to have resolved it? Still not showing at my end. Have tried a couple different browsers too just in case.

    Hmmm.. interestingly, I am just testing a Masonry Gallery and the image captions show up fine in there. Still nothing when using portfolio grid though.
