On desktop the roll hover on the image works
Please look at the same page on a mobile (I have test both on iphone and ipad), and touch the image: no caption is displayed.
> I’m using enfold 4.0.4 wuth a child theme
> I have reset and deactivated all the plugins : do not change anything
> I have swith to the enfold original theme : do not change anything
> I also have activated debug mode: 0 errors
What can I do more?
The way the site is working now is awful for mobile users because they just see image without any captions: the home page use the caption rollhover
thanks…EDIT: I just see that the probleme is not focused on the caption rollhover, but also on animations on images (like the one who make an image a little big bigger on rollhover)

Just 2 simple pages tests:
https://www.domodeco.fr/xxx > no hover effects on mobile devices (ios, android)
https://www.domodeco.fr/accueiltest > hover effects works on mobile devices
Why… ? I do not undersand :-(I have setup a fresh WordPress with Enfold 4.0.4 nothing else, the bug (no hover effects) affects Safari, Chrome browsers on mobile all mobiles devices (IOS or Android). Firefox browser for mobiles devices works fine.
This is a critical situation…

Please refer to this thread for a possible solution. In general, hover does not work on mobile devices and there might not be one universal solution that will work in all cases.

VictoriaHi yes I know that and I know this thread :) But you know what now it works and I have found that when the plugin WordPress Essential Grids is active on a page, all the hover (caption display, image bigger, etc.) works on mobile devices !
I suggest you to go to the real site: https://www.domodeco.fr with your mobile and just tap all the image…Hey!
That is a bit strange, but seems that the plugins is overwriting the hover of the rest options.

I suggest you to look at further this plugin to understant how it works and make Enfold works too…Hi pako69,

Yes sur it’s a feature that is (in my opinion) really needed, many other WordPress theme allready use it like this one (tape the image on you mobile device) : http://morpheus.smallfacemedia.com/demo1/
