cant upload template to godaddy – where are directions?

I have used this theme before, it has been awhile, i am trying to upload the zip file to godaddy but it is timing out.

firewalls disabled and all that done.

the nonprofit i am volunteering with only has 7 pages. the zip file is not huge. But is there a bare-bones zip i can use or offer any advise.
this really shouldn’t be this hard.

Where do i find standard installation instructions for the different demos?
