GuestHi there,
A new client of me uses enfold for all his websites. Now 1 website in particular is giving me some problems. After i migrated the websites to my hosting servers the enfold theme gave me a fatal error.
The problem before this was, the enfold Theme was still on version 3.1.1. I couldnt update this theme because the given URL was wrong.
So i thought by myself, i will move it and then fix the problems. I moved the site to newer php 7 servers. And now the website is virtually offline. But i can still get in the backend.
I cant use the Themeforest API key of that site because i cant enter the enfold theme options anymore.. It says the site is having some technical issues and i should see in the admin mail for fixes. This admin mail told me the enfold theme gave a fatal error.
May 9, 2019 at 12:33 pm #1098898Hi Robert,
The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

GuestHey Rikard,
On of the problems is, that now i cant see the API code and make a account here! Can you make me a account on this site so i can use the links you just presented?
May 10, 2019 at 6:55 am #1099177Hi,
Thanks for the update. Do you have access to your Themeforest account? If so then you can get the purchase code in there. The purchase code you posted before doesn’t seem to be valid when I try to register you.
Best regards,

Thanks for that, though that doesn’t seem to be a valid key unfortunately. You can check if you are able to register with it here to check if it’s valid: https://kriesi.at/support/register/
Best regards,
