    Hey therealcrazy8,

The update to 4.5 has to be done manually unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

I followed that link and just successfully updated via the UPDATE THEME AND PLUGINS FROM ZIP FILE plugin that was mentioned. One question I do have about that. Now that I have successfully updated, am I able to go ahead and UNCHECK the “Check to ENABLE saving a backup copy…” box and then remove that plugin without an harm, even though it will remove the backup it created?

    Thank you

    Hi,

Yes, you should be able to uncheck that option and disable the plugin if the theme was installed successfully. Just make sure to create you own backups before you make any changes though, just to be on the safe side.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
