But unfortunably when click on update theme it’s written an eeror occure :

Mise à jour du thème Enfold (1/1)
Téléchargement de la mise à jour depuis …
Une erreur est survenue lors de la mise à jour de Enfold : Le téléchargement a échoué. L’URL fournie n’est pas valide.
    Désactivation du mode maintenance…
Toutes les mises à jour sont terminées.

    Hey jb84,

This is a known bug in the Envato update api. We found a fix/workaround for it on our end and we’ll include it with the next update. You can add this fix manually – use the theme editor (Appearance > Editor) and edit Enfold. Go to enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/ and open the class-pixelentity-theme-update.php file. Clear the entire file (remove the code) and copy the entire code from here https://pastebin.com/raw/epetJ1SG into the blank file. Afterwards save the file and the update should work.

You can also use ftp to update the file. Save the code from here: https://pastebin.com/raw/epetJ1SG to a file called class-pixelentity-theme-update.php. Then connect to your server via ftp, go to the directory wp-content/enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/ and overwrite the class-pixelentity-theme-update.php with the updated file you created before.

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi
    i followed your instructions.
It update correctly to 4.2.6 but when now i want to update to 4.4.1 it display me the same error… :(

    Hi,
Please try updating via FTP by downloading v4.4.1 from your Theme Forest account and then via FTP, look for the “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/ and rename to “enfold-old” then upload the new version as the folder “enfold”
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.
Once you have cleared your browser cache and tested that your site is working correctly, you can delete the old folder “enfold-old”.
If for some reason you want to go back to the old version, simply remove the new folder and change the name of “enfold-old” back to “enfold”
If you don’t feel confident doing this we can assist if you provide admin & ftp access in the Private Content area and link to your theme file download in DropBox.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi jb84,

Yes, those changes will stay, they are stored in the database.

But nonetheless, always make a backup before updating.

    Best regards,
    Victoria
