    Greeting,
    I bought an Enfold license a couple of days ago and I want to upgrade my WP theme but it keeps telling me to use the latest version of the Enfold theme.
    I added Enfold API but it doesn’t find a new version of Enfold theme. There is a message: No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.8)
    Can you upgrade me to the latest version of Enfold?
    I’m sending access to Cpanel and WordPress.

    Hey John M.,

    Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.6.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

    Hey Rikard, thanks for the help, I solved the problem using the plugin as you explained.
    I have another problem, when I click “Edit Page (Advanced Layout Builder), I can’t delete any element (eg Heading, Text, Image …), I can’t even add any element.

    Thanks for the update. Is there a page we can try to reproduce this problem? Also, could you try to update WordPress to the latest version (5.3.1) please?

    Dear Ricard, I did a WordPress upgrade.
    You can see an example when you click on any “EDIT page” page to not display Layout Builder correctly.

    I can’t delete any elements in Advance Layout Builder. Urgently please help me to resolve this issue.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for that, but you are still running an old version of WordPress. Could you please try to update that to the latest version? Also please try to switch to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options to see if that makes any difference.

    I switched on Classic Editor in theme options, but still not working.

    Hi,

    I went to Enfold theme options > Layout Builder and disabled “Lock advanced layout builder for admins as well?”. Please review your website :)
