If I click to second page of search results I see mainpage, but not search results.
It not happend if I set wordpress setting Permalink structure as Plain.
But with any other Permalink structure (Post name for example) I cant to see other search results pages — only 1st.February 1, 2023 at 7:32 pm #1396277Hey mischael1,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.4) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

February 3, 2023 at 3:59 am #1396473Hi,
Thank you for the info.
We checked the site but we are not yet sure what is causing the issue. Can we deactivate the plugins temporarily while testing the site? Is there a staging or development version of the site?
Best regards,

February 3, 2023 at 7:24 am #1396498By the way. I found this bug years ago, when I first time buy your theme. This is not fresh issue.
February 4, 2023 at 10:05 pm #1396685Hi,
I see you have some custom shortcode elements in your child theme, when I switch to your parent theme this error doesn’t seem to occur, I also tested on my demo site and can not reproduce this so I believe that it is related to your custom shortcode elements in your child theme.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 5, 2023 at 5:24 pm #1396764No, guys. You are wrong. Main page of the Enfold default little bit same as search results page.
Let look closer. I put link to screencast video in private. This is problem of main theme. When you click to second page of search results you will come to 2nd page of main page, not to 2nd page of search results.February 7, 2023 at 1:34 pm #1396978Hi,
Thanks for the video, I’m not sure what is causing this on your site, I’m not able to reproduce it on my test site I have asked the rest of the team for ideas but I see the admin login is no longer working, please enable the admin login so other team members can also take a look, Thanks for your patience.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 7, 2023 at 4:37 pm #1397002sure. thank you!
February 13, 2023 at 5:31 am #1397702Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Looks like the second page of the search results page are now showing correctly. Did you figure out the issue?
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 13, 2023 at 8:27 am #1397712Oh, guys. No, it is not showing correctly now.
As i show you in video (reply February 5, 2023 at 5:24 pm) search results contained 2 pages. When you clicking to 2nd page it start to show 3 pages (because it still not search results page it became main page).
You can check yourself: main page contained 3 pages. Search results of query “testovaia” contained 2 pages.
See video. I can record one more if you need.February 19, 2023 at 8:14 pm #1398558Hi,
Sorry for the very late reply and thank you for your patience I did some more tests and found the changing your Permalink structure to plain corrects the search result pagination, please test your site now.
I’m not sure why this is, I have asked the rest of the team for ideas. I’m encouraged that this may point to the core issue.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 21, 2023 at 10:29 am #1398747Yes, I wrote it in first message of this topic. plain links works perfectly. But what to do for fixing issue? No idea?

March 1, 2023 at 9:18 am #1399630Hi,
Sorry for the delay. We are not still not sure what is causing this issue in your site. The pagination in the search results works properly on our own installation. Please provide the S/FTP details in the private field so that we can check the theme files.
For the meantime, please try to download the latest version of the theme again from your Themeforest account and override the current theme folder in your installation.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 13, 2023 at 1:10 pm #1401020I downloaded the latest version of the theme and rewrote the files of what I had on top. I didn’t touch anything else.
S/FTP details provided. Thank you for support!March 14, 2023 at 6:57 pm #1401174Hi,
Thanks for the feedback and the FTP login. Please try to not overwrite the theme files because it could leave damaged misnamed files behind, I recommend first extract the “enfold.zip” file to your desktop as /enfold/
and rename to /enfold-new/ and upload the folder to your /wp-content/themes/ folder via FTP or your file manager in your webhost cPanel
Then via FTP or your cPanel file manager, at /wp-content/themes/ rename /enfold/ to /enfold-old/ and rename /enfold-new/ to /enfold/ and delete the /enfold-old/ directory.
And then check your site, I tried to do this for you but from my location the FTP was calculated to take three hours, so I couldn’t do it.
I did try the other method of uploading the enfold.zip your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes but WordPress gave this error:
The update cannot be installed because some files could not be copied. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions
So please try to correct your file permissions or try reuploading via FTP as I suggested.Best regards,
Mike -
