    Hi,

    It seems i can’t import the restaurant demo. Always receive the error : Importing didnt work. You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.
    It is a new & clean WordPress installation. Tried to reinstall the theme as well.

    Any help would be appreciated

    This did not work for me, keep getting a gateway timeout and this: File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini. Please advise on how I get this demo on my site so it looks like the Shop demo. Thanks…

    Hi Gunther_Axeli,

    I have checked it and I think everything is imported except for the images, you might be having similar issues in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/most-demo-images-missing/#post-903144

    I used the advice on another thread and did not check to also import files. That worked, but of course images are mostly not there. Site is illingcompany.com, and I’ve changed the home page to your shop page to start working on it. I think the other demo pages are there, but not sure. Thanks for looking into it!

    Thanks for giving us the link to your site, I have checked the homepage and it seems you have already changed it, however other pages can’t be checked.

    Your access to this site has been limited

    We also don’t want to mess with what you have already built, maybe you can create a stage site where we can try to import demo and check on it, though I would suggest also to create a new thread for it so you can post the login details in private content, where it will be shown only to moderators and the thread creator.

    Hi,

    @Illingco    : I would not recommend trying to import any of the demos at this point because it looks like you have been customizing your site. Importing a demo now will cause you to lose the content you now have.
    Is there a certain page or element in a demo that you are trying to recreate?


    @Gunther_Axeli    : it looks like you have also begun customizing your site, do you wish for any further anassistance?
