Hey,
I bought Enfold in 2015 to create my webpage with WordPress.
It’s been 5 years, the license isn’t valid anymore so I bought a new one because the enfold updates require my themeforest user name and API key.
Issue is that I cannot find my API key anywhere. Please help, thank you!

Hello,
So I created my token, got it and entered it into my enfold wordpress and nothing has changed, do I have to wait 12h for it to check the updates?

So the theme updates is telling me that there are no updates available and that I am running the latest version (3.1.5) and when I check manually, there are no theme updates either.

Hi,

Thanks for the details. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

Also please update the version of PHP you are running on the server, I would recommend 7.1 or higher.

Thank you guys for your help, I finally managed to udpate my theme and thus also the php of the website.
But by doing so, the carousel got removed, do you have any tools to create one in the enfold theme perhaps?

What do you mean by the carousel? Images slider or content slider?
