    Hi,

Thanks for that, I see the same problem on my end. Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

AS NOTED IN THE ORIGINAL REQUEST:

I deactivated ALL PLUGINS ALREADY and that did not work. I checked to make sure Java was enabled. I tried from both Chrome and Safari. And it still didn’t work. I simply reactivated my plugins because I didn’t want to leave them off not know how long it would take you to check this ticket. I could surely go in and deactivate again but I do not believe it will make a difference.

Deactivated plug-ins for all day yesterday hoping someone would be able to take a look. Have since reactivated them. Please advise. SEE ABOVE NOTES. Thanks

    Hi,

What you did worked, since it’s working now on my end. Please check you site.

OK now I’m very frustrated. On my end it is NOT working. I wish I could post a picture or do a live with someone to see that it is NOT working. When I attempt to click and drag it does NOTHING but highlight blue on my screen. I’ve tried it from 2 different computers with plugins off and on and the same result. please advise.

    Hi,

Sorry for that, rearranging already activate plugins is working, but adding new ones it not. I tried deactivating the active plugins but that didn’t resolve the problem either.

Could you try reinstalling WordPress to see if that helps (see private)? If not then please try activating one of the default WordPress themes to see if the problem goes away.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #900405

You rearranged the plugins? Would that be a solution for fixing the original issue which was the ability to DRAG and DROP WIDGETS.

I have reinstalled WordPress, refreshed the screen and it still isn’t working. What else can we do now?

    Thanks

    Hi tlkingsland,

Can you give us ftp access? so we can try to debug and check further since there are lots of js errors. Also allow us to deactivate all plugins so we can isolate the issue.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #900783

Yes you can have FTP access. How do I give that to you? Yes you can deactivate plugins.

    Hi,

Thanks for providing access, I have added this in wp-config.php:

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );

and it fixed the problem. Let us know if it’s good on your end :)

I am now able to drag and drop but I don’t see that the widget Mailchimp Subscibe is working (the new one I just added.

I also got this error message I’ve never seen before when I attempted to re-activate plugins
Error Details: The Jetpack server encountered the following client error: Verification secrets not found

    Please advise

    #902509

    Hi,

Where can I see the jetpack error? also for Mailchimp Subscribe are you referring to Enfold Mailchimp Newsletter Signup?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hello,
I have a similar problem. When I drag a widget to a widget area in the admin, it is automatically closed and you can not make any changes within the specifications. The widget I want to use is ‘filter on product attributes’ from WooCommerce. For example, the Mailchimp register and Instagram widgets do not work either. Other widget again though.
The non-working widgets are also displayed in the front-end.
I have also deactivated plugins but it does not help. I hope you can help me.

    WordPress version 4.9.4
    Enfold: version 4.2.3

    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Hi,
Please ensure that your webhost has PHP v7 installed, if this doesn’t solve then we will need a admin login to investigate.
Please open a new thread with the admin login in the Private Content area, because as this is not your thread your info will not be private.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
It’s not possible at this moment to use PHP7 on this hostingserver. I assume that this basic functionality should also work with php 5.6.33
I will give you admin access.
I hope you can help me.
    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Hi,
I see that you have a child theme and 4 Enfold themes, which all seem to be named the same. So it is hard to tell which one the child theme is using. This could be a conflict.
    2018-02-12_071930
Try keeping the child theme and v4.2.3, and removing the others. But I recommend backing up your site and theme settings, as I have seen a similar setup before that turned out to be a onion.
If that doesn’t solve, then I see you have many woocommerce plugins and custom functions in your child theme functions.php.
I recommend trying to disable your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If this doesn’t solve then try removing all of your custom functions, if that resolves the issue, restore then one at a time until you find the one that is the cause. Please reload the widgets page between each setting change.
Please let us know what you find.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
I changed the PHP version to 7 but the problem is still there and deleted the extra Enfold-versions as you said.
I have the same problem with another site. When I place the Enfold Mailchimp widget it is not possible to change the specs.
This is not a Woocommerce site and had only two extra plugins. In this site I deactivated this plugins.

Maybe you can look at this site what goes wrong?

    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Hi,

So it seems to happen only when Mailchimp widget is on usage, is that correct?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    #911421

    Hi Basilis,
No, more native WP and Enfold widgets has the same problem. The html widget does work.’
    You can it try yourself.
    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Hi,
I’m unable to find the login page on this testing site, /wp-admin/ leads to a not found error, please advise.

    Best regards,

    Hi Mike,
I have reset the login page to /wp-admin/
    You can reach it again.

    Hi,
All of the widgets seem to be working at the testing site, please try.

    #911664

    Hi Mike,
I deleted the content inside functions.php in the Child-theme and it was working.
But why isn’t this file working anymore with the new Enfold versions? Even if I only start this file with <?php without functions.
    Best regards,
    Marc

    Hi,
I’m not sure why you are experiencing this, the child theme functions.php is working on my install. I couldn’t investigate on your site as the Appearance > Editor is not an option.
Please include FTP access in the Private Content area, so we can be of more assistance.

    Best regards,
    Mike
