Hi there, two days ago when I had a need to edit one of my last blog articles, I’ve noticed that I can’t edit or create blog articles as it gives the following message: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
I don’t receive any email after that.
Our freelancer developer sent me this, might be helpful to your support:

November 7, 2019 at 1:49 pm #1154636Hey inspireassociates,
Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.6.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardNovember 11, 2019 at 9:51 pm #1155766Hi Ricard,
Thanks for your answer. I have forwarded everything to our developer who followed your steps but updating the theme and deleting the whole theme folder didn’t work.
So we uploaded the new theme, added styles file from the old one but probably you used absolutely different classes or even functions, we don’t know. Our developer suggested that probably you just need to fix an issue in an old version of theme.
Anyway, please let me know how you would suggest us to proceed. We have given you our credentials confidentially, so let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you solve this for us.
P.S. This is getting very urgent to us since we can’t edit or add new articles..
