    I have several “Horizontal Galleries” that I use to showcase my artwork and recently, I’ve been unable to update them.

    I click on the “Horizontal Gallery”, then “Add/Edit Gallery”, then “Add to Gallery”, but the page appears blank. My images never load, so I can’t add any new ones.

    Hey NoelleMBrooks,
    Thanks for the link, I see that you are using Enfold v4.2.2 with WordPress v5.3.2
    This version of Enfold was created before the new WordPress was released and needs to be updated to work correctly.
    Unfortunately, due to the changes with the Theme Forest API you will have to update via FTP.
    I recommend using your web hosting tools to create a full backup.

    The easiest and safest way to update is to download the newest version from Theme Forest and rename your current theme folder to “enfold-old” via ftp then upload the new “enfold” folder and check that your site is working correctly.
    Once you are happy you can delete the “enfold-old” folder via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
    Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” folder to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.
    Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.

    Mike, thank you for your help.
    I’ve never used FTP access, but I think that I updated the theme correctly.

    However, I’m still having the issue in which I cannot add new images to my “Horizontal Galleries”.

    Hi,
    Can you please include an admin login and perhaps a test page with a Horizontal Gallery so we can test, we would expect to see an error in the browser console to help us identify the issue.
    Please include an admin login in the Private Content area.

    Mike,
    I’ve created an “Admin” login with details in the Private Content of this content.

    I’ve also created a “Test 2” page on my website with a Horizontal Gallery. I was able to add images to the gallery to create it, but now that it’s created, I can’t add more images to the gallery, so it’s replicating the issue.

    We are having the same issue with the Masonry Gallery, with Enfold v4.7.1 (and before with 4.6.x.x). We are using WP version 5.3.2 and php version 7.3

    I can rearrange and delete the images, but I cannot add new images from the Media Library. Just a blank screen and a dimmed blue button…

    For us – deactivation the plugin “Enhanced Media Library” did the trick, now I can add images again!
