    Hi
    I have a new install of WordPress and the latest Enfold installed. I cannot import the Law demo. I have increased the php memory limit and tried using WP Reset as well. Can you please help?

    Hey sv3designs,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    You may need to disable the security plugin before doing the import, and make sure that the server allows connection from this IP address (85.13.149.161). Please contact your hosting provider and ask them if they can check this for you.

    Hi Ismael,
    I deactivated the Sucuri security plugin and tried to import. It did not work.
    Secondly, I contacted my hosting company and asked them to whitelist the IP address (85.13.149.161). This did not work either.
    This is a brand new install of WordPress and there are no other conflicting plugins.
    Is there a way to manually import the XML? Where can I find the Law demo XML file?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    You should find the demo files in the wp-content > uploads > avia_demo_files folder. Just make sure to download them first in the Enfold > Demo Import panel. You can then manually import the xml file in the Tools > Import > WordPress panel.

    Hi,
    Unfortunately, that is where I am having trouble. If I click Enfold -> Demo Import on the Law Demo, it says “download did not work. Please reload page and try again”. Is there a way to get the XML file via Dropbox or something?

    Hi Sara,

    The reason why it’s not working on your site is that PHP ZipArchive Extension is not enabled.
    You can verify it in LayerSlider WP > Options > System Status (or go to the link in private content)
    You can check this article on how to enable it: https://bobcares.com/blog/enable-php-zip-extension-cpanel/
    Or you can request assistance from your hosting provider.

    I can’t download a demo either. I get the message “download did not work. Please reload page and try again ”. I have read the post. I have contacted my hosting and they tell me that everything is ok with the security plugin and there is no problem with IP address (85.13.149.161). I have read the article https://bobcares.com/blog/enable-php-zip-extension-cpanel/ and have installed PHP zip extension in cpanel. Still, I can’t download the demo. I have checked in LayerSlider WP> Options> System Status and PHP ZipArchive Extension is enable :(
    I have contacted my hosting and they cannot help beyond this.
    Can you help me with this problem?

    @Pilarte     Thank you for that info. Please open a new ticket and post the site details (WP and FTP) in the private field so that we check the issue further. Which demo are you trying to import? We can hand you the demo files, then you can import it manually using the WordPress import tool.

    Hey,

    Thanks however FTP path does not seem to be correct. I am only seeing .ftpquota file. Could you please make sure that FTP logins have access to the root of your WordPress installation? Also, it seems like WP user you created is still does not have administor user role :)

    We need FTP logins to upload demo files on your server and WP admin logins to import demo in Enfold theme options – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/#how-to-manually-import-a-theme-demo :)

    Yes, WP admin logins are fine now so thank you for that!

    However, FTP path still seems wrong. Could you please update it as well and set the path to the root of your WordPress installation? :)

    I have imported health demo and tested on your website by temporarily removing index.html file on the root of your WordPress installation.
