    Hi
    I have installed enfold version 3.3.2 and enfold child version 1.0 in 2015. I have never updated unfortunaltely!! and my helper who bought the themes gave me never the code and he does not work anymore. I am willing to buy a new enfold if necessary, but I am afraid installing the new one will overwrite my previous data.
    I have updated the wordpress to 5.0.3 and have php 7.2 and changed the theme to twentyfifteen for then to install enfold from dashboaerd again. The same error comes up.

    Hey Anette Koppang,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Updating the theme will not overwrite your previous data. All your site content is saved inside the database. By updating the theme you are only going to replace the theme files on the server.

    However, we recommend backing up your site just to be on the safer side.

    Thank you for your answer.
    I bought the new version of enfold, version 4.5.3. I went to my database one.com and installed only the ziped enold file ( I unpacked it first). I replased the one I had, the version 3.3.2. I have not installed enfold child yet with the version 1.0
    When I now go to my homepage via theme twenyfifteen and then activate the new version of Enfold, I get this message: Warning: require_once(config-wpml/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /customers/a/a/e/holtegatenakupunktur.no/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 29 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘config-wpml/config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /customers/a/a/e/holtegatenakupunktur.no/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 29

    Hi,

    Thank you for sharing the details.

    Please go to the file manager on your control panel and delete the “enfold” folder in wp-content/themes.

    Extract enfold.zip and upload only the enfold folder to wp-content/themes.
