    Hi,
    I want the shortcode button to open the link in a new window, so target=”_blank”

    I found 2 other posts where they said to add window=’new’ or window=’yes’ to the button shortcode attributes, but that doesn’t work.

    Is there a way to get this done without modifying the theme files?

    Hi halasyt!

    In the button options there is a setting called “Open link in new window?” which you can set to have it open in a new window.

    If your in the default editor and playing around with the shortcodes then it would look like this.

    [av_button link_target='_blank']
