    Hi,

I am building pages with drag and drop avia editor.

I have one page where the buttons are playing up.

    There are two problems:
    1. the buttons are not showing up properly at all (as the full width, large buttons that I have made in sections of various sizes). They show up only as small grey buttons, aligned to the left, with text of ‘Get or ‘Check.

    2. Clicking either of these grey buttons only refreshes the page and does not go to the pages that are linked to these buttons in the editor.

    3. Note: when i put the URL of the page in the address field, i get the above issues (if i am logged in, and if i am logged out, it is the same result). when i hit ‘preview’ from within the editor, the page and buttons show up correctly as I’ve set them in the editor.

    4. Note: I use these similar kinds of buttons elsewhere on my site with no problems. it is just this page that is playing up.

Can you please assist? How can I get these buttons functioning properly?

    Thank you.

    Hey Narli,

It looks like the page you linked to is password protected?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
The code of your buttons has curly quotes which is braking them, did you add the elements or page via the debugger?
If so re-paste the code as plain text so there won’t be any curly quotes.
If not try disabling your plugins, or remove custom js from the page.
If this doesn’t help, Can you please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.
Please see screenshot in Private Content area.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Thanks Mike.

Do I need to be a web developer/coder to be able to do this? I’m not sure how to access the code of my buttons. I am not a web developer/coder.

and if i do access the code, do I just remove the quotations marks? do i replace them with anything else?

    Thank you for your help!

I added the elements using the Avia layout builder.

It may be easier for me to simply insert new buttons into the page and see if that works.

Oh I worked it out. I had ‘ >>> ‘ in my text fields for my buttons.

I removed that and now they work!

    thanks for your time!

i guess it was interfering with the code of the buttons or something

    Hi,
Thanks for sharing your solution, is there anything else we can assist with on this, or shall we close this?

    Best regards,
    Mike

actually yes I have a problem with the displays of my blog page and posts that I need help resolving.
i want to be able to use full width sliders and then beneath it, have the side bar on the right.

in avia i have the fullwidth slider set, then the blog posts (for the main blog page) and a sidebar created for my blog and set to visible on these pages.

on the main blog page, the slider does not appear, but the side bar does.

on the blog posts themselves, it seems that i can not use sliders OR colour sections or else the sidebar does not appear.

Can you please assist me to resolve this?

My theme and wordpress are both up to date.

    Hi,
Since your site is in maintenance or development mode and I can only see one page, I’m going to assume the /the-power-of-art/ page is the blog page we are talking about. I see at the very top there is a full width slider, it is an image of paints, although it doesn’t slide. Also I see a sidebar near the bottom, under a “call to action” strip with the button “Join the heartistic movement” with a blog element next to the sidebar.
When I click any of the blog posts, I see a message that it is password protected.
But I take it that you want to add a slider to these posts, are you using the advanced layout builder for the posts?
Perhaps if I had a admin login I could see the issues better, but right now it only looks as you don’t have the blog posts sliders that you want?

    Best regards,
    Mike
