Hi there
I’ve built a onepage site with #anchor links in the navigation, and a separate link to a blog page.
I thought everything was working Ok but I have three problems.
1. When I navigate to blog from #home then back to an #anchor it doesn’t always jump to the correct colour section. I’ve seen a few posts on this forum about this issue so thought i’d ask.
2. Also when I navigate back to #home from the blog some of the dividing quotes i’ve created – the background image doesn’t display correctly, but when I start scrolling they fix themselves and the background image then fills the space
3. again when I navigate between #home and blog and vice versa the page load animation appears, then the page i’m exiting flashes, page load animation again loads then the visiting page loads.
Please take a look at my link to see if you can replicate these issues or let me know if you need more details.
Any help would be great, thank you.
August 13, 2015 at 11:18 pm #487492Hey!
I’m unable to reproduce this issues on my end (Chrome / OS X), are you experiencing this under a specific environment?
Nice site, btw.
Cheers!

Thanks very much, it’s slowly getting there, final tweaks. Maybe it could be added to your showcase ;-)
I’m also using Chrome OSX. Try navigating from Home > Blog > Contact and you should see this (see private content) where the link has gone to the wrong place and the divider image isn’t filling the space.

RichardAugust 14, 2015 at 9:18 pm #487997Hey!
I see it now, does it get fixed if you disable the pre-load setting? can you please create us a WordPress administrator account? post it here as a private reply.
Best regards,

Phew i’m glad it’s not just my setup. I’ve disabled the smooth transition and it’s fixed the double loading issue – that’s one down, thank you. Login details below

August 17, 2015 at 6:29 pm #489063Just adding I’m also having the issue with anchors not working correctly when jumping back to a page on a site in development. The header is fixed and when a visitor jumps back to a section on a page its looks like the header distance is not taken into account. Only does this when jumping away and back to the page. Sorry if I should open another ticket it just seemed the same as point #1 here. I’ll stand by and if solved on this site can try on my site as well.
August 17, 2015 at 9:09 pm #489133Hello,
@raslade, have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed? seems there are some elements that are created after the Enfold scrollspy offset calculation is done.
@shelteredinsound, i’m unable to note the issue, can you point a more detailed instruction on reproducing it?Regards,
JosueAugust 18, 2015 at 3:37 pm #489545Hi Josue
Thanks for having a look, i’ve tried disabling all the plugins but still no luck with the question 1. However I’ve looked at it in Firefox and Safari and all apart from #contact go the correct place, so it seems to be partly a Chrome bug. Any more ideas.
On question 2 i’ve added `
.av-parallax.avia-full-stretch.active-parallax {
-webkit-transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px)!important;
-moz-transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px)!important;
-ms-transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px)!important;
transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px) !important;
}`
to the custom CSS and it solves the problem but removes the parallax. Would there be anything else causing the positioning issue?Thanks

I’ve fixed the parallax for now by adding
.av-parallax {bottom: 160px;}
to my custom CSS. This way the image fills the space and still applies the parallax.However my first issue is still causing me a problem. I’ve tried creating a new page and new menu and the #links go to the correct Color section so I think I need to rebuild my page to see what’s causing it. One thing I’ve noticed though is that the bug only happens on Chrome.

August 21, 2015 at 10:04 pm #491622Hi Richard,
I was able to reproduce the issue on Safari and Firefox too, i’d suggest you removing all third-party elements on that page and see if it gets fixed.

JosueAugust 24, 2015 at 11:08 pm #492532Hi Josue
Yup you’re right – it seemed to be both the Advanced Layerslider and team plugin i’d used that caused the extra padding. Annoying as I need both those plugins for the job. Did FF visible jump to the correct position from Blog to Home for you?
Do you know of any CSS rule that I can apply to the header that resets the height and avoids the trimming issue?
Thanks

I’m still having trouble with the onepage site i’ve built. I’ve created a page that illustrates the problem.
Each section should start at 0 but when you navigate to blog then back to one of the other links the padding on Chrome is wrong and it seems to be the slider causing the problem. Could you have a look at this as a matter of urgency.
thanks

The site is all sorted now, I employed a developer in the end via Codeable to fix the problems as the client needed to go live.
Thank you to you and all your colleagues for their help and advice – it’s an amazing theme and well worth it’s price. The support offered is priceless. If you’d like to include the site in your showcase please do.

September 8, 2015 at 11:30 am #499768Glad you managed to fix it and sorry for not finding a solution in time. We have a showcase thread for Enfold here, feel free to post the site :)

JosueNovember 19, 2015 at 2:08 pm #538975Was there a fix figured out for this as I am having the same issue when coming back to the home page from a different site page. I am also having the issue that some animating icons are not animating and the underlining highlights for menu links are not showing correctly when navigating back to the home page from a different site page. I believe these are all connected to the padding issue described above.
Many thanks
