October 11, 2014 at 8:54 pm #334389Hey Dawn1017!
I am getting a 500 Internal Error after attempting a fix. Could you please forward us the FTP credentials to your site to allow me to fix the issues.
I have marked this thread as urgent and shall treat it as a priority.
Best regards,

Sorry for the late reply. The site is fixed and running and additionally managed to fix the issue as well.
Added the following to a php.ini and a php5.ini file and placed it in the wp-admin directory:
upload_max_filesize = 20M post_max_size = 20M max_execution_time = 300
Tested the page by adding many more content. The issue appears to be sorted. Please check and let us know.
Cheers!

Did you add any html code on the content of the page? Forgetting to close a specific html tags will erase all the content below it.
Cheers!

When into revisions to restore and blew up again leaving us with an early build, but lost the revision history???? So now can’t see any of the saves…
There is definitely a bug in the template. I’ve been using Enfold on different sites for over a year, including a large ones and have not seen this before. I lost a total 4-5 hours last night plus countless hours trouble shooting the previous install.
I just saw Alexoidea post and it is exactly what I am experiencing! Thank god I haven’t updated my other sites yet!
Please advise.
I can duplicate this issue on a clean WP+enfold install on MAMP running on my mac.

Thank you for the info.
I created a test page, added a bunch of elements then published it. Get back, added elements again then update. No contents are being erased. As you can see there are 4 revisions and no contents are erased every time I updated the page so that means that problem is on the specific page that you’re editing. This is the test page: http://gronskys.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=461&action=edit&message=1
Cheers!

The specific page is the restaurant parallax one page from your demo install. I was able to make 40+ saves replacing content and got half way through the food menu 4 hour in and boom half the site is gone. Restore it back a few saves, view it all looks good, go back make one edit and save, boom its all gone again. Once it blows up your done even if you think you fixed it. No extra html, no extra plugin, no caching, just the demo template with revised text and my images. It always happens during the food menu edits using the categories in page builder.
I was able to reproduce this bug on three clean installs of WP4 and enfold 3.01 with the parallax template, two of the install on a webserver and one on a LAMP install. That’s 3 for 3.
Since the blow up my revision history is gone on all pages, not sure how to get it back. Its not saving new saves either…My issue appears to be the same as Alexoidea posted as his two biggest issues: Similar Issue Post
(1) update break ups when I try to change some layout elements using Avia, and update (save) the page, the page gets rid of most of the work, and occasionnaly gets me “back” to an early or scrappy drafted version of the page (not a draft page, just the page as it looked when it was a work in progress).
(2) page contents “erased” upon update Sometimes, upon update (save), the page… gets blanks with all of its contents erased!- This reply was modified 10 years, 1 month ago by Dawn1017.
October 16, 2014 at 10:18 am #336668Hi there:
As The Kriesi himself noted in this post:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/avia-layout-editor-is-buggy-in-ff-32-and-ie-10-11/
Avia Layout editor is buggy in FF32 and IE 10, 11.I do experience a similar situation to yours, and I’ve also been using enfold for years, never experiencing any of these issues.
This is a bug which I am sure Team Kriesi will fix.We took the exact same actions (reuploading Enfold through FTP, rebuilding things again from scratch, etc.).
For those experiencing similar issues, here is the thread:

October 17, 2014 at 12:38 am #337067I did some additional testing coping a page from my webserver using enfold debug view to my MAMP server wp site and when the page glitched on save and lost half the page it also caused my wp install to loose revision history just like on the webserver, which I can figure out how to get it back. Very odd.
I use ff 33, chrome and safari and this issue appears to be the same with all. Unless ff is causing pagebuilder to glitch and corrupt the site code.
Still on the sideline until is worked out. -
