I created a thread a few days ago, and I’m unsure why it’s not showing up here.?? I’m a little concerned. I put my credentials for sign-in.
I have done everything I can to change the bold type to black, which is not taking.
I want to have the links in a color and the bold type in a bold black. I added custom p strong{
color:#000!important;
}I tried to change it in the – Change the styling for all tags, but NOTHING is working.
I am supplying the sign-in credentials again since I am a lay person, and I think you may want to go in and take a look.
Can you PLEASE help get the links a different color than the type?? and the Bold in Black but BOLD?
It is important for SEO to have the links clearly visible.
Thank you.
December 23, 2024 at 10:20 pm #1474202Hey extraeyes,
The login details you posted are not working. If you want to change the colour of the strong tag, then you can do so under Enfold->Advanced Styling.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 24, 2024 at 1:04 am #1474210I did that styling; as I said, it’s not working. I did the login credentials again. I tested and it works for me. I may have typed it wrong
Thank you.

December 24, 2024 at 9:43 am #1474217Hi,
Thanks for that. What happens if you clear all caches or temporarily deactivate your caching plugins?
Best regards,
RikardApril 7, 2025 at 6:22 pm #1480953I never did figure this out, I am back at it. I did clear the cache and that does not do anything.
I ONLY WANT TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE LINKS. LINKS MUST APPEAR DIFFERENT THAN BOLD TYPE.
Thank you in advance for your help.

April 8, 2025 at 9:36 am #1480985Hi,
If you want the strong tag styling to apply, then you cannot add spans with inline styling inside of the tags like you are doing here:

Try removing the span tags to see what happens then.

RikardApril 8, 2025 at 4:49 pm #1481008Sorry I should have told you I do not do code. I am a layperson and only know how to manipulate the front end.
Are there front-end options?

April 8, 2025 at 9:02 pm #1481022Hi,
Maybe you have added that using the default WordPress editor while using the Text Block element? If so, then you can simply change it back using the same editor. You can also click the Text tab in editor, there you can manually remove the span tag.

RikardApril 8, 2025 at 10:27 pm #1481027No I am in the Enfold alternate content Font color for links, dropcaps and other element and changing the color there and it is not changing in the website.
this page has a lot of links… when I change the color in the Enfold page it does not change in website and back to where we started yes I cleared the cache:
I do not understand anything about the picture of the code you sent me.
Thank you for your patience since I don’t know code.
April 9, 2025 at 9:26 am #1481065April 9, 2025 at 3:58 pm #1481082I cannot enlarge or see what you sent me. Again, I have mentioned several times that I do not understand code. I do not use that text box the way you are using it.
I have almost 300 pages. I need to change it in the theme settings for all 300 pages in the Enflod settings .
I need to change the theme as I mentioned in the Enfold . I AM IN THE : Enfold alternate content Font color for links, dropcaps and other element and changing the color there and it is not changing in the website.
MY BIGGER CONCERN OF THE TWO IS THE LINK COLOR.. it significantly affects SEO when you cannot tell the link from the text.
I did disable all of the plugins to see if one if interfering with the ability for the link color change to take effect but that was very long ago.

April 9, 2025 at 8:21 pm #1481099Hi,
The theme settings for the strong tag will not affect other tags nested within it, like a span tag, which is where your content is placed and where inline styling also has been added. If you want to target span tags nested in strong tags, then you will have to use custom CSS:
strong span { color: red !important; }I would advice that you don’t copy content from sources that adds styling in the future.
Best regards,
RikardApril 12, 2025 at 12:49 pm #1481221Excuse me for not knowing code terminology. So this will make my links bold and a different color than my text? I’m just making sure. I am only working on common sense with no code knowledge. Shouldn’t the word links be in there? I am just chekcing.
Also, I do not copy content from sources that add styling often at all. When I do, I usually clear the formatting. Isn’t that all I need to do?
I just now realized that Grammarly works in WordPress and it gives me changes and I click add in. Maybe that is formated.
The enfold theme settings are not working to change the link/drop caps. Shouldn’t we figure out why to solve the problem at the root cause??
My other website changes the colors under the link caps section.
thanks for your patience since I do not know code.

April 12, 2025 at 9:19 pm #1481257Hi,
I understand that you don’t understand what we are trying to explain, so for this page: https://photomagx.com/travel-photography/photo-magazine-extras-top-hotels-photography-spots-2018/ try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:.avia_textblock a strong { color: blue !important; }After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
It should work on other pages, but if you find one that it doesn’t work on, link to it and we will provide another css snippet.

Best regards,
