Hi. I have two websites. The second site is being rebuilt from the first. The same installation of Enfold was used and the theme options have been duplicated from site to site. Below are two links, each is to the same page on the two sites. The original site has the text the way I would like it. The second link is to the same page on the new site (domain contains /newsite). You will see the text on the new site seems to be much tighter and doesn’t look as spacious as the original body text. Can someone help me understand why the body text looks different using the same font, font size. This is making me crazy and the client doesn’t like the text looking crowded.

    Thank You,
    JP

    Hey Joe,

It looks like the fonts families are reversed. The first site is using Helvetica for headers, and Open Sans for the body text. Please check your settings under Enfold->General Styling->Fonts on the new site.

    Best regards,

    Rikard,

Thank you for your reply. So I looked at the settings under Enfold->General Styling->Fonts on both sites and they are both the same. I have added a screenshot below. Not sure why they are so different. I literally went section by section and duplicated the theme options from one the the other. There are a few things that aren’t working. The burgundy underline under menu items doesn’t show up on the new site either. Oh well. Thanks for your help

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

Did you check the Enfold > Privacy & Cookie options? It is possible that the Cookie Handling > Default Cookie Behavior is set to the third or option, which blocks Google fonts by default. You might have to set the cookie behavior to the first or second option first or disable the cookie consent bar completely.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Ismael,

Thanks for the response. So i tried all options under cookie Handling. No change. I also noticed that when I change the body fonts in General Styling> Fonts, the fonts do NOT update on the front-end. No matter what font I select, say Brush Script MT, when I save it and refresh the page, the same font remains, it doesn’t change. I have tried 10 – 15 fonts, never changes on the front-end of the site. I have cleared my browsers cache and cleared the cache on the server, still no change in the fonts.

    Hi JP,

Thanks for the update. Please post admin WordPress login details in private for the site which you are having problems with, so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
