    If you set the Theme Options > Blog Layout > Blog Style to Single Author, small preview Pic then when you are viewing the blog, the preview image is to the left of the title and excerpt. Here is an example: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ylSsDvzZzeVjhrV2tCNGtYZ2M/view?usp=sharing

    If you set the Theme Options > Blog Layout > Blog Style to Use the advanced layout editor… and then within the layout editor if you click on the Blog Posts block and set Blog Style to Single Author, small preview Pic then when you are viewing the blog, the preview image is no longer on the left, instead it is above the title.     I want to use the Advanced Layout Editor to design the blog, but I also want the blog preview picture to be on the left side of the title and excerpt, not above it. How can I use the Advanced Layout Editor and have the regular blog style for Single Author, small preview Pic where it displays the preview pic on the left side like the first image above?

    Similar question, I think.

    I want to show the latest blog post heading/link on the home page, but I’d like to only show the blog heading, date, and “read more.” Can’t figure out how to do that with shortcodes or the blog post widget. (You can see what I mean in the private box)

    Hi!

    it won’t be possible to get the same look with ALB automatically. When using ALB for blog posts you have all freedom but need to do everything from scratch.

    Do you know where I adjust this then to change the layout to how I want it to look? For example, if I wanted the preview picture to be on the left instead of on top of the content, is there a specific file or styles I need to edit and where are those?

    I think we can get that done with CSS, please link to your site and highlight what you want to change and we’ll have a look at it.
