Hi,
My main blog page has suddenly just disappeared at surfschool.net/blog.
The page is using the Blog Posts content element to pull in my feed of blog posts. Previously there was no issue and everything showed fine. But then all of sudden I checked it and nothing is showing now.
Going back and doing a page restore does not seem to work. Is there anything I can do to fix the blog?
Thank you in advance for your help.

June 13, 2019 at 6:57 am #1109744Hi,
Thanks for that, you haven’t selected any categories in the element options. Please try to select a few categories and it should show posts after that.
Best regards,
RikardJune 13, 2019 at 9:26 am #1109802I went ahead and did as you suggested and it’s actually made the issue worse. Whereas before it was a blank page with the categories showing in the sidebar. Now it’s a blank page with nothing showing anywhere, and it’s compressed the entire page so the footer and header are essentially touching one another.
June 13, 2019 at 7:56 pm #1110040Hi JoeSurf,
Can you disable caching and minification for now?
Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 14, 2019 at 10:14 pm #1110517Hi Victoria, I’ve gone ahead and disabled caching and minificaiton, deactivated my caching plugin and checked all plugins by deactivating them and it does not solve the problem.
What would be the next steps in troubleshooting?
Kind Regards,
Mark
June 15, 2019 at 9:07 am #1110610Hi,
I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.5.7) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardJune 18, 2019 at 5:01 am #1111194I will definitely try manually updating to 4.5.x. However, we’re having difficulty accessing the original account details within Themeforest. Is it possible for your support team to provide the latest zip update for the theme? I’ve provided the purchase code in the private content if that helps.
Thank you for the help.
