Hi I have 3 blog posts feeding into my home page with blog post element.

    1. Even though I have chosen just 1 category, it is bringing all of them in.
    2. I want to hide categories and date on these posts, but it won’t hide, no setting in the element, so I checked to hide in Enfold Theme Options (Blog Layout), which didn’t work. But that is not really what I want. I’d like to hide for my feed / element on home page, but not on the main blog page.

Do I need to set up a devleoper id on home page and use css to remove or is there a setting I am missing.

Also, would you mind telling me if you are going to go back to the old way of displaying option elements? Kinda hate all the tabs, it’s more timely and confusing than helpful.

But I still love Enfold, thank you!

    Hey Eleina_Shinn,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out where you are having this problem.

Options layout: there is an option to not display tabs under Enfold->Layout Builder. We will add an option to the “old” layout as well, likely in the next release of the theme.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Okay, I’ve placed in private content.

Also, while you’re looking into this, could you answer me another question. I saw in the forum that you added a new layout option to “Disable Toggles and Display all Options”, which I’ve done on this site. But, isn’t this supposed to remove th etabes in the elements for editing purposes, to make it like it used to be, all in one place, quicker? If so, it doesn’t appear to be working on this site.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Thanks for that. Is the blog page where you are having problems the one in private? If so then that is set as you blog page in the theme options, please unset it there or select a different page if you want to design your own blog page.

The Disable Toggles and Display all Options option is a bit different from the “old” layout. We will add another option to get it back though, it should likely be included in the next update of the theme.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
