    Hi!

I have a blog at http://www.up-dates.nl/blog and at the bottom there is a number 1 and a number 2, for the two pages with blog posts I’d assume. If I click on the 2 though, I see the same page as when I’d click on the number 1… How come and what to do about it?

    Hey Welmoed!

Your using Enfold 3.4.6. You’ll need to update to the latest version, 3.4.7.

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Hey Elliott,

thanks! I downloaded the new file, uploaded it, and got this message:

    Destination folder already exists. /home/mhid1163/public_html/up-dates.nl/wp-content/themes/enfold/
    Theme install failed.

I’m using the Enfold Child Theme, yet the ‘mother theme’ is still installed, yet not active. Maybe that has something to do with it? I’m not sure how to go about updating, please help me out :-) Thanks!

    Hi!

Please update the theme manually via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi Yigit,

    thanks for your quick answer!
I just saw that I can update from the WP back-end, so I added my Themeforest username + API key. At the moment it says I have Enfold 3.4.6 and it mentions that that is the latest version? Shouldn’t it mention that I could update to 3.4.7? I’d be very happy if I could do it from the WP back-end instead of via FTP.

    Hi!

Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and you are sure that your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.

    Hi! Wow you’re fast :-)

I assume the API is correct, but how do I check? I went to ThemeForest – Settings – Generate another API key – http://www.up-dates.nl as the label, and then copied the generated API and added it to the section in the Child Theme Settings. Username as I see it in ThemeForest. Should be alright?

I’ll try the Transient Cleaner anyway :-)

    Hi!

I installed the plugin, but before I even activated it, I was able to update the parent theme within the backend/Enfold Child Settings. So I guess it worked even without the Transient Cleaner :-)

And indeed, the blog pages now work just fine :-)

Topic can be closed, thanks again for the assistance!
