    Hey,

I want to display Blog Posts in “Full content”. I created a page and inserted the Enfold “Blog post” Content Element. I choosed “Full Content” in the setting “Blog Content length”, but independently of what I choose there, the appearance in the frontend doesn´t change at all. I didn´t set the page as “Blog page” in Theme Settings. I tried that also, but nothing changes. By the way, the Update of Child Theme doesn´t work also.

Be aware, that we locked the page via htaccess, so you need to use credentials mentioned in private content area to see the page.

    Hi,
I took a look at your blog posts and it looks like you have used the advanced layout editor on the posts. The full post will be displayed when using the default editor but not for the advanced layout editor. Instead you will need to create a custom excerpt when editing your post. If you do not see the excerpt field then click on “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen and check it to display.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

thx for your reply but I don´t really get the message behind your post: Enfold offers several appearances for the Blog Style of the Enfold element “Blog Posts”. When I set it on “Single Author, small preview…” and choose “Full Content” it doesn´t work as all other settings in “Blog Post” settings don´t work. Whatfor are those settings, when you say, that those settings can´t handle your own builder but just the default editor? In that case, I can control Blog Post Overwiev settings, but not the blog posts itself by your Enfold builder!?

    Best regards
    Tim

    Hi,
Sorry, I’m not sure I understand your question. The full post will be displayed when using the default editor but not for the advanced layout editor. Instead you will need to create a custom excerpt when editing your post. If you do not see the excerpt field then click on “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen and check it to display.
The content of the blog posts are handled differently wherever you are using the default editor or the ALB (advanced layout builder) for posts. The ALB is designed to give you more design and layout options than the default editor.

    Best regards,
    Mike
