    I’m still having trouble getting the blog posts to look the way I would like. it’s most likely a simple setting but for the life of me I cant get it.

    I would like to have it like individual post this page

    I can’t seem to get the sidebar blog in widgets to show on the individual posts. Or should I use ‘display everywhere’? I’m confused as to why its not showing.

    The other issue is the featured image. It is working as a thumb nail view on the blog page and when you view the post but when in the post I also then have a large stretched out image across the header under the menu?

    Hey John,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I checked your site but couldn’t find an active blog post.

    You can try the following:

    1. Sidebar widgets: I checked your site the search and recent post widgets are showing up fine on the blog post.

    2. Blog: You can change the blog layout from Enfold options > Blog Layout >

    Hope this helps, please do let us know if you have any questions :)

    Best regards,

    Hi Vinay,

    Yes, the blog page has not yet been added to the menu but is published. See in #1 in PC below.

    What I am trying to achieve is to get it looking like yours here:

    Also, I am after how it is when you click on a post such as here:

    If you click on one of my posts you end up with an image stretched across the top, see #2, which is being pulled form the ‘featured image’?

    Any assistance is appreciated.

    Thank you for the update.

    How did you add the section with the stretched image? Is that a custom container? Please post the login details in the private field so that we can check the settings. The blog page demo is consists of a Color Section with a background image size set to “Stretch to fit”, and a Blog Posts element.

    Best regards,

    Hi Ismael,

    I’m really not sure of the stretch image as I do not believe there is any container. On the post, I am using the WordPress default editor, I’m not even using the advanced layout editor.

    Thanks for looking into this.

    Thank you for the update.

    We just found out that the image is used as the background of the body element. Did you do that?

    <body data-rsssl="1" id="top" class="post-template-default single single-post postid-964 single-format-standard stretched lato " itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="" style="background:url( no-repeat center top transparent;background-size:100% 370px;">

    Looks like it was added directly in the template.

    Best regards,

    That just it. All I did was add the featured image. I’m not understanding why the stretch image is happening or why that code is there?

    Thank you for the update.

    There are a lot of template modifications (header.php, footer.php, includes > loop-page.php) in the child theme folder. Please make sure that those files are up to date. Or disable them temporarily. The background was added directly in the body tag. You will find this code in the child theme’s header.php file.

    <body id="top" <?php body_class($style." ".$avia_config['font_stack']." ".$blank." ".$sidebar_styling); avia_markup_helper(array('context' => 'body')); ?> style="background:url(<?php echo get_the_post_thumbnail_url();?>) no-repeat center top transparent;background-size:100% 370px;">

    Best regards,

    I have managed to get the blog working correctly now.

    Please close thread.

    Many thanks for your assistance.
