    Hi there,

    I just noticed something. On my blog when I click on any category, the page opens the posts without featured image and excerpts.
    Please see http://xandrianoir.com/category/humour/

    The first few posts show excerpts and ‘read more’ yet no featured image. The bottom ones are full posts.

    Can you please help me fix this?

    I need categories to show post title, featured image, excerpt and read more.

    Hey xandria,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, login details are working. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.4.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update

    Note that you might have to delete the old version of the theme before upload the current version.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your support. I always appreciate it.

    I have updated the theme and the problem is still the same. In blog categories, some posts show full and some show excerpts :(

    I was about to check but credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials? Do all the posts have excerpts?

    Thank you for your prompt response. I have added the credentials. Check this category for example http://xandrianoir.com/category/generally-talking/ After few posts, full posts are showing instead of excerpts.

    Hi,
    I just checked. The old ones don’t have the excerpts manually entered but I still remember that when I imported those posts from blogger, the theme automatically picked excerpts and show under title in the categories as well. And the new ones that I directly posted on site, I uploaded without excerpts and the theme always picked excerpts automatically too for both, the blog page and categories page.

    Later when I updated the theme somewhere in 2017, it didn’t show the excerpts on categories pages.

    Please note that the excerpts are visible on the log page for all those posts. Now even if I enter manually on each post, the category page is still showing full posts. http://xandrianoir.com/category/art/ Please scroll to check.

    Can you please do something so the theme can automatically pick excerpts for the category page too. Please help.

    This was the problem in 2015 as well but it was fixed yet after update, returned. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/blog-categories-6/

    Hi Victoria,

    I just checked many posts and noticed that some (or may be more) have excerpts already and yet they are showing full. http://xandrianoir.com/2014/10/26/no-qualification-youre-disqualified/ If you see this for example.

    I also inserted an excerpt to a post to see and yet it is still full on display.

    Please see if you can ask developers to check it too? I am very grateful for your help.
