    Hi there,

My site is using the massonry gallery to display our videos (we are a video production company), and within the header of our service pages we have a muted BG video. Not everytime, but every so often when the videos are clicked, it will trigger the background video to play audio so it’s 2 videos playing audio at once.

Is there a simple way or piece of code that I can insert that ensures the color section background with background video stays muted always? There used to be an option to click “mute” within it, but that is now gone.

    Please help on this.

    Hi alexx8675,

The background video is always muted on my end. Which browser are you using?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

I’m in chrome, but have seen it in firefox as well. If you go to the middle section where it has samples of work, try clicking on the massonry gallery where it will open up a video. This is a weird glitch it seems where it will play the original muted BG video (with audio) on top of the video that is being viewed. Just want to make sure that our clients aren’t seeing the same thing.

    Hi alexx8675,

If the issue is not appearing consistently then it’s most likely to be a caching or minification issue.
Can you try to clear cache then temporarily disable caching? also clear out autoptimize caching then disable it temporarily, then check it for some time.
Let us know your feedback after doing our suggestion.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
