    Hi,

    I have been struggling with editing web pages under the enfold theme on my site for almost a year now. I haven’t contacted you as we had an issue with updating the PHP (now fixed). I have two problems. Firstly the drag and drop (of layout elements, content elements etc) feature of Avia Layout Builder does not work when I am editing a page. It only works for new pages. Once I have stopped and saved a new page… and then come back to it later then the drag and drop feature stops working.

    The second way it does not work is that when I edit an existing text box… nine times out of ten I cannot see the existing text…. the box is blank…. even though when I go back to looking at the whole page there is clearly text there. Sometimes when I swap between visual and text modes I can see it but it is quite random.

    The website is running on an up to date bitnami software stack on AWS. The other major plugins we use are WooCommerce and the cozmoslabs profile builder and paid membership subscriptions.

    Enfold version 4.8.5
    PHP version 7.4.15
    Wordpress version 5.8

    Thanks for that, we have access to the site now. I tried editing a few pages, but it looks to be working as it should on my end. Could you post direct links to example pages which you are having problems with please?

    Hi Rikard,
    many thanks for looking at it. Did you need to make any changes to get it to work? In the last few days we have tested od pages and new and they are both working exactly as they should…. which is the first time that has happened since the website was built 18 months to two years ago! I am not quite sure what changed to improve things but it working and you can close this one!
