    Hello there,

While laying out a new text area on an existing page of my website, something odd happened: a block of code appeared below the text box, and it appears to be html of the text box. However it won’t let me delete it or even move it. This is only happening on one page of my website, see link below. I just updated to the most recent version of Enfold and it didn’t seem to help. Thanks in advance for helping me get to the bottom of this!

    Hey 1lizcollins,

Login details are not working, could you check and verify please?

    Best regards,

My apologies. It should work now.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, I can see the problem on that page as well. What code did you add and in which element?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thank you! I didn’t add any code at all, I only cut and pasted text into a text box, which is why this is so puzzling!

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. If you activate debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes, you should be able to remove that manually: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

Also please post the exact text you are adding on pastebin or similar and link to it here.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi There,

In response to your question, I’m realizing that I didn’t cut and paste, but was actually typing info into a text box when things went haywire.

I enabled debug mode as you suggested, and I was able to delete the text in the weird boxes, but after saving the page it is back again. The page now loads normally for website visitors but I am unsettled by this recurring issue. Can you help me get rid of that weird field altogether?

No, it hasn’t been fixed yet. If you log in and scroll down on the page you will see it. See screenshot below.

    Hi 1lizcollins,

Which element on that page can you not delete?

My apologies – I didn’t realize I was looking at code from debug mode. It looks great now, much appreciated. You can mark this as closed.
