All of a sudden I am unable to open Content and Media elements, existing or new? They can be added, but will not open to allow editing?

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Which pages is it happening on?

The Classic Editor was installed and the Content or Media elements will still not open to edit.

Enfold says we have the most current version? (see screen shot)

Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.4)

…. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from version 4.4.1 and below, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
