Hey there, I was using enfold, editing with avia layout builder without problem like 5 months ago, but since January it was a problem. When I am trying to editing some text on pages there is a text with code, that repeats in other pages, so when I am trying to change something, changes are not visible and this code text is remaining. In some other case, there is the right text inside of the builder editing, but when I am checking again, changes are not visible.
Can you guys help me out with this? should I give my site links?
Hope you can help me out with this because the client is changing continuously things and this is becoming a problem.

Hey jobeca,
Sorry for the problem. Could you try to update to the latest version of the theme to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.

Once you have updated then please select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

Hi,
No, selecting the Classic Editor will make everything work as it did before WordPress 5. I would advice you to have backups of site in case something should go wrong during the update.

RikardHey there, not sure if it is the same issue, but my home page changed, half of the page looks like boxed. I tried checking at theme options, also I saw some advice at your support forum, adding a quick css code but nothing happened. Hi Jobeca,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for the login details, though your front page is looking fine on my end. Did you manage to get it working? If not then please post screenshots highlighting the problem. You could also try to select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options or try to update to the latest version of the theme which is 4.5.6.
