Avia Layout Builder does not load on the Blog admin page when the selection on the “Blog Layout” in Enfold Child is “Use the Advanced Layout Editor to build your own layout.”
If I try to leave the page while the wheel is spinning, a pop up asks if i want to leave the site.
I have tried the following fixes:
• Logged in and out many times
• Turned off all Plugins
• Removed all CSS code snippets
• Flushed cache on browser and on WP dashboard
• Contacted hosting tech support multiple times, they upgraded PHP, “reset cache,” and talked to “experts” as well as a few other things that they did not detail.I’ve also seen some of the advice given here but to no avail. Anyone know how to solve it?
Thank you!
May 12, 2020 at 5:21 pm #1212249Hey eodesign,
Please update the theme to the latest version. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)
To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)
If that does not help, feel free to reply here and we will take a closer look at the issue. In that case please also add your WordPress login credentials (in the “private data” field) so we can take a look at your admin area
Best regards,
VictoriaMay 12, 2020 at 7:35 pm #1212340Hi Victoria,
Thank you for the response. The theme is updated to 4.74 as of 5:33 GMT today and the “Avia Layout Builder” does not load on the Blog page, but does load on other pages.
So we still have the same problem as before the update.
The login information is provided here again (info has not changed since the first post).
Thank you for any further help.

May 18, 2020 at 1:04 pm #1214010Hi,
We get an error in the console whenever we access the blog page, but we are not really sure why, so we deleted the current blog and created another. Did you add custom content (scripts, text etc) in the blog before? (see private field)
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 18, 2020 at 7:20 pm #1214097Thank you.
I noticed that the Classic Editor Plugin is now shut off. Was this part of your attempts to fix the issue?
There was no custom content in the blog before.
It seems to work now. Keep the debug mode on?
May 20, 2020 at 9:02 am #1214571Hi,
Great, I’m glad that Ismael could help you out. There are some problem with the Block editor in the latest versions of the theme and WordPress, so please keep using the Classic Editor until the next version of the theme.
If you don’t need the debug window then you remove or comment out the function which activates it.
Best regards,
Rikard -
